A Mini Trampoline Is A Great Piece of Exercise Equipment at a Low Cost
The first time I saw a mini trampoline was in back of my friend's pickup truck. He was doing a detail (a mini-assignment) to my office and he brought his mini trampoline to Los Angeles so that he can work out in his hotel room. My friend is in his mid-fifties, and so I was curious why he decided to bring this exercise equipment all the way from Las Vegas. From that point I wanted to learn the benefits of a mini trampoline.
Benefits of a Mini Trampoline
#1: Fun Way to Exercise
The jumping up and down can be made a lot more fun on a mini trampoline. Jumping up and down on a trampoline or rebounding has reached a new level of interest for both the young and old. This is another exercise that is better for the joint since there is lower impact.
#2: Weight Loss
By rebounding, you are getting your entire body moving. There are so many different workouts that are fun and exciting. Your weight and fat will just melt off.
#3: Good For The Heart
It is given that jumping up and down will raise your heart beat, and everyone knows that it is important to exercise your heart muscles.
#4: Compact
Unlike a large outdoor trampoline, the mini trampoline is another great piece of exercise equipment to add to your collection. The mini trampoline does not take up too much room, and you can move it upright and lean it against a wall.
How to Jazz Up The Fun
There are so many different workouts available. I have displayed a few. What I love to do is when my kids are using their Dance Dance Revolution on the PS2 or Just Dance 3 on the Wii, I do the same moves on the trampoline. This way, I don't need an extra controller, but instead I gain the low impact and extra benefit of the mini trampoline.
Cost of A Mini Trampoline
There are so many different types of mini trampolines. There are even some made just for children. They range from $30 to 80. Some have a bar to hang onto and others are mere the mini trampoline. I personally did not need a handle bar and found the bar to hinder safety. However, many gyms do use the mini trampolines with the handle bars.
So the next time you are looking to pick up a different exercise, I recommend you check out the rebounding on the mini trampoline.
